The first Papermovie story.
It took us a year and nine months, a couple of unreliable painters, a couple of magazines which turned us down, a couple of perfectly upgrading accidental remarks (by Debelia, ivov and Mireff], a lame attempt with an unreliable team of photographers, a hit on the right people, a lot of trouble, self-financing of the shootings, seven friends' computers for the processing, a long and tedious search for money to print it and in the end - personal donations by good people (Stefan Furnadjiev and Georgi Nedelchev).
In February 2002 we saw it come out in 8 episodes, 500 copies each, at 25 locations in Sofia. Later we printed 10 unique t-shirts (thanks to Agrino Agency), each of them with a different frame from the story and Three-legged Dogs spelled across the back. They were given away to certain people, who are also fans of the project. One of the t-shirts for example (worn by Deyan Donkov) is acting in the play Suburb at the Theatre of the Bulgarian Army.
We also made a video. Although it is not something we can be truly proud of, it played on MM music channel as Anonymous, OST Three-legged Dogs. The track is by Milenkov, and together with another track by ivov (which plays as background for the credits), is part of the unrealized idea for a soundtrack to the story. Three-legged Dogs is out of print and it is close to impossible to find the full story on flyers - your last resort is photocopies.
